Swiss pear wood is a near perfect wood species for “ebonistas” such as Pierluigi Ghianda to work with. It inspires the desk objects designed jointly with Emanuela Frattini, such as a box with a seemingly invisible opening joint. The pencil tray is a refined way to organize ones writing instruments.
